Whatyou will do
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for keeping the warehouse and freezer areas in a safe, sanitary and efficient working order. This role inspects all pallets of product and trailers prior to loading to ensure accuracy in our inventory database, including verifying blocks on pallets, proper staging, and shipping the load in the D365 system.
Here’s a day in the life- Warehouse production including hand scanning staged loads into the D365 system and completing the staging portion of the shipping checklist.
- Staging loads in the warehouse staging area.
- Inspecting the trailer for general cleanliness prior to loading and loading trucks.
- Shipping products in the D365 system and completing the shipping checklist.
- Inspecting and unloading arriving loads of supplies or product; receiving products into the D365 system.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from
-20 to +90 degrees. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
- Must be a team player and interact with staff at all levels of the company.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, swing), weekends and holidays.
- Effective communication and reliable attendance onsite.
- Proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operations.
- Basic computer literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook. SharePoint and ERP knowledge such as D365 is a plus.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Warehouse experience and/or training is preferred.
- Previous inventory control experience is a plus.
- Good math and reading skills are required.
- Must be able to work various shifts (days, graveyard, swing), weekends and holidays.

This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $22.76.
Working conditionsLaboratory:
Shared workstations with testing equipment and computer terminals. Generally quiet, temperature controlled, well lit. May include walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and forklift traffic. Requires standing majority of shift, working with chemicals, bending and climbing stairs and ladders. Duties may include repetitive hand motions and lifting up to 35 pounds. Percentage distribution:
Standing 50%, Sitting 25%, Walking 10%, Lifting 10%, Climbing 5%.
