Decatur, IL – The operator position could be in any of our five processing units (Wet Mill, Refinery, Dextrose, Starch, or Utilities).

You will be a vital part of the team owning your part of the process. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, performing preventative maintenance, running laboratory samples, making adjustments to keep operations running safely and within specification, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Some roles may involve packaging equipment, loading railcars and bulk trucks, and other physically demanding tasks requiring climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 60lbs, and working in hot and cold temperatures.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and problem‑solving skills.
• Pass a computer test, drug screen, background check, and a 120‑day probation period.
• Passion for safety and food safety.

• Starting pay of $24.25/hr + $0.50 shift differential and overtime.
