Must have ability to work any shift, overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice as needed. The shift schedule includes an 8-hour, 10-hour or 12-hour shift on a rotational or swing schedule (i.e., seven-day swing and/or rotational).

* Position Summary:

* Production Specialists are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned. Production Specialists must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

* Job Responsibilities:

*
* + Job duties may include, but are not limited to: general housekeeping, clean-up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, oiling, greasing, lubricating, sample retrieval, power washing, lifting, hauling items up and down stairs, stacking or dumping 55 lb. bags, shoveling dry materials, and other various warehouse duties as assigned.

+ Operating equipment such as forklifts, bobcat, skid steers, pumps, conveyors, grind mills, fiber, germ and gluten dryers.

+ Working in a manufacturing environment to complete various processes including weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, and storing products and sanitizing around facility (sweeping, compressed air cleaning).

+ Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and processing equipment operation.

+ Troubleshooting and minor repairs of equipment is expected.

+ The Production Specialists must be capable of learning and qualifying on additional positions such as Utility, Operator II and Operator I in order to step up and fill in on an as needed basis. Must show a willingness to learn functions outside of the general laborer duties to help fill in for temporary or permanent vacancies in other jobs.

+ Production Specialists must have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, and work in hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment.

+ Must have a safe working attitude, be an active participant in safety programs, learn and follow written rules and procedures, and produce accurate documentation.

+ Other duties as assigned.

* Job Requirements:

* + Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy

+ Experience in manufacturing, production and/or similar military environment (preferred)

+ Must be 18 years or older

+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

+ Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)

+ High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)

** On-The-Job Training Requirements:*
* + New colleagues will need to undergo on-the-job training to acquire skills and certifications, which will be assessed according to established standards
