Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $63,000.00 Annually

JOB FUNCTION – REQUIREMENTS – SUCCESS FACTORS:

The primary accountability of this position is to support the 24/7 Float Glass manufacturing production, scheduling, cutting, processing, closing and inventory of glass products to assure optimization of the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Provides a strong focus on customer needs, optimize order mix and utilize available capacity.

• Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Must have 1-2 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• A broad background in supply chain management and customer interaction is desirable.

• Oversee float line wareroom production and related order processing, scheduling operations engaged in cutting, processing, inventory and shipping of glass products.
• Oversee customer service operations to provide timely and accurate order processing, inventory management and shipping and related services to meet customer requirements. Provides detail data for customer interaction and feedback on product availability, demand levels, etc., consistent with supply chain needs.

• Understand Market and Customer Perspective with strong focus on customer needs and opportunities to optimize capacity and profitability.
• Focus on Results to assure that order commitments are met and production operations perform at a high level of efficiency.
• Teamwork and Cooperation by providing excellent communications between internal organization and customers. Must be highly effective in a team environment and matrix management organization.
• Focus on capacity utilization, inventory control and continuous improvement.
