Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Cardiac, ICU, ER, Cath Lab, PACU, OR, and other units. Ideal candidates are patient‑focused, mission‑driven caregivers who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are committed to applying clinical knowledge to provide compassionate care.
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, supervising assigned team members, and teaching patients and their families to understand conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals, making necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.

Decatur, IL - Sign On Bonus: $20,000 for Full‑Time
- Compensation: aligns with experience; shift differentials for night, weekend, and call on top of base rate;

- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi‑state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
