• State License License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications NIHSS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• EMR Cerner
• Skills Assessment MES skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 2 Supervisor references within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than two holidays off during my assignment.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee at this facility in the two years.
• Additional Confirmations I am willing to float
• Additional Confirmations Remote telemetry monitoring experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Use of Rapid Response Teams experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Colostomy care and feeding tube care and management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Heparin, Insulin, and PCA medication administration experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injury experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Surgical drains experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), CPAP/BiPAP, and nasal cannula experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Pre/post thoracic surgery and tracheostomy management experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Isolation precautions and wound care/wound vac experience is required.
• Additional Confirmations Continuous bladder irrigation experience is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 5 days of time off can be requested.
