Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Nursing - $20,000 Sign on Bonus

Compensation

$10,000 Sign‑on for 1 year commitment. Hourly: USD $30.23/Hr. Up to $48.37/Hr. Sign‑on $20,000 for 2 year commitment.

Overview

Manages, coordinates, and performs nursing care with compassion and care for an assigned group of patients and their families, incorporating preventative measures. Nursing goal:
Educate and restore patients to optimal wellness as defined by the patient and their families.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Current registration or eligibility for licensure with the State of Illinois.
  • Required to complete Oncology Nurse training within 1 year of joining.
  • Current Hepatitis B vaccination.
  • Will complete additional training or demonstrate competency in skills identified in the unit‑specific competency plan and skills list.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

This position is performed within an environment of frequent exposure to blood and body fluids.

Physical Demands
  • Regularly walk, stand, stoop to floor level, kneel, and assist in lifting patients.
  • Reach, change, and read IVs 5 feet from the floor unaided.
  • Support weight of persons 200 pounds or more in emergency situations.
  • Attend to visual details and communicate orally and in writing.
  • Read 5 feet from the floor unaided and utilize fine motor control in hands.
  • Lift, push, and pull weights of at least 5 to 50 pounds frequently.
