Job Summary

The Customer Quality Representative within the Carbohydrate Solutions platform, specifically Ethanol, will act as the liaison between customers and internal departments such as manufacturing sites, transfer terminals and warehouses on all relevant quality‑related matters. The role provides quality‑based support for the ADM commercial, sales, customer service and production teams, collaborates with Product Stewards on complex requests, and addresses day‑to‑day issues to ensure growth and knowledge within the team.

Direct interaction with existing and potential ADM customers is expected. Participation is required to define, develop, and implement improvements within the supported business units to meet best‑in‑class production quality and food safety expectations. Role responsibilities increase in complexity as knowledge and understanding are gained. This position reports to the Product Steward/Customer Quality Manager Carbohydrate Solutions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide global quality support and technical expertise for Ethanol and other ADM Carbohydrate Solutions products.
  • Participate in ASTM and other industry organizations; offer guidance on export regulations and TTB requirements specific to Ethanol.
  • Handle incoming quality requests from customers, end users and sales managers, aiming for high customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise between customers and internal departments on all relevant quality matters.
  • Identify and manage risks with the plant quality department, food and feed safety managers, and understand established risk assessments.
  • Communicate with the customer base on quality, regulatory, and food safety details including product specifications, analytical data, questionnaires, applications, food safety plans, and product quality issues.
  • Document any customer complaints, act as liaison with Business Managers, General Managers, Research, Operations, Legal and Regulatory to take required action, and communicate resolution to the customer.
  • Participate in customer audits as needed.
  • Assist Product Stewards, business, and sales managers with relevant projects.
  • Master information systems as needed to perform tasks effectively.
  • Respond to customer requests for standard/non‑standard documentation and questionnaires as needed.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a science discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality or technical related experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand technical properties and functionality of ingredients.
  • Strong organizational skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Developed interpersonal techniques, customer focused.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision; effectively plan, organize, and execute work.
Compensation & Benefits

Base pay offered may vary and is expected to be between $70,400.00 and $. Employees will be paid overtime when working qualifying hours. If hired, employees will be in an at‑will position and the company reserves the right to modify base pay at any time. The total compensation package for this position also includes an annual bonus and a salaried incentive plan.
