TCCI is looking to grow our Global Quality organization. In support of our growth and new market opportunities, we are seeking a highly skilled Warranty Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Warranty Tech, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and dispositioning products returned under warranty. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of warranty claims, adhering to company policies and procedures.
The Warranty Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and providing valuable feedback to improve product quality. This role will require critical thinking skills as well as strong documentation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities- Inspection and Diagnosis: Thoroughly inspect returned products to identify defects and determine the cause of failure. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment as needed.
- Warranty Claim Processing: Accurately document all inspection, diagnosis, and repair procedures. Prepare and submit warranty claims according to company guidelines and timelines.
- Parts Management: Manage inventory of warranty parts, ensuring adequate storage conditions and timeliness to meet customer demand and information collection requirements.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Production, etc.), and suppliers regarding warranty issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, including product information, defect descriptions, repair details, and claim status.
- Quality Control: Identify recurring product defects and provide feedback to Engineering and Quality teams to improve product design and manufacturing processes.
- Policy Adherence: Adhere to all company warranty policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Relentless pursuit of improvement. Suggest or support rapid implementation of improvement ideas.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities to diagnose and resolve product defects.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate inspection, diagnosis, and documentation.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and communication.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple warranty claims efficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve warranty issues in a professional and courteous manner.
