Senior Meat Cutter PT

Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Member – collaborates with cross‑functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; remains flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels and controls shrinkage.
• Be an Expert – maintains in‑depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products and equipment usage; operates and sanitizes equipment; processes meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensures compliance with food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines and inventory management.
• Be a Techie – leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner – drives business results; ensures operational excellence; plans for profitability; maintains a work area per company policies; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador – advocates for the department and the club; values the members’ experience in the meat area; models high‑quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level; interacts with associates to identify roadblocks and assists in training them.
• Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implements action plans using Open Door Policy.

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Will successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

The hourly wage range is $20.50 to $28.50 per hour. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
