We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Chicago. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in air and/or ocean freight forwarding who is passionate about building long-term client relationships and driving revenue growth.

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the air and ocean freight forwarding market
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Meet and exceed revenue and gross profit targets
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and market intelligence

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding sales
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Transferable book of business preferred
• Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight pricing, and market trends
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
