Requirements

Job Summary: As a Road Service Technician, you'll work with assigned customers to perform prompt and complete diagnostics, assessments, maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment at their locations and in the service shop while making every effort to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair lift trucks and other identified products.
• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Be Safe in the Moment:
  Follow and promote safety initiatives.

Technician Requirements:

• A technical background is required, and strong computer and electrical skills are a plus.
• Previous loading dock installation & repair and overhead door installation & repair experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, fuel systems, charging systems are a plus.
• Personal ownership of tools to complete required tasks.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to complete paperwork timely and accurately.
• Professional and courteous customer relations skills and phone etiquette.
• Proficient computer skills or the aptitude and willingness to learn how to use a computer and software.
• Meet the physical requirements of a service technician.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Positive attitude and ability to successfully work in a team environment.
• Functional capacity to cope with pressure, multiple projects, and frequent interruptions.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation.

Working Conditions: Hours will be 7:30 a.m.

- 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Some overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. This position may be an apprentice or journeyman position, depending upon qualifications. Steel toed work boots are mandatory. Some travel with overnight stays may be required.
