Millwright 1 & 2

Millwright I & II – Day Shift – Decatur, IL. Responsibilities include installing, dismantling, aligning, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment while following Primient’s safety procedures. Salary $35.85 – $37.56 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include healthcare/medical insurance, 401K matching and non‑contingent matching plans.

• Install and set up machinery and equipment using hoists, lifting equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Dismantle machines, move machinery, and align equipment with precision tools such as micrometers, laser alignment tools, and dial indicators.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on pumps, gearboxes, fans, conveyors, packaging equipment, and other industrial machinery.
• Maintain building and grounds, fabricate, install, and repair utility, process, and sanitary piping and plumbing systems.
• Operate forklift, boom lift, and industrial moving equipment.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and orderly.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (7–10 years of verified millwright experience may substitute). Five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
• Basic math, reading, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, troubleshooting, and knowledge of pumps, compressors, distillation systems, and other process equipment preferred.
