Mueller Water Products seeks a 2nd shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our brand new state of the art foundry in Decatur, IL. The work consists of installation, repair, removal and rebuilding of all Foundry machinery, equipment, material handling equipment, as well as repairs to building and grounds.
- Reline furnaces as required
- Read, interpret and work from blueprints, layouts, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
- Make sketches and rough blueprints as required.
- Skillfully set up and operate a variety of machine tools used in the performance of their duties.
- Make repair parts as required in the performance of their duties.
- Layout, set up, and perform all acetylene or electric welding and cutting operations as required.
- Install repair, maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform plumbing and boiler repairs as needed.
- Professional manner maintaining the highest standards of productivity and quality.
- Abide by safety guidelines and wear PPE as instructed.
- Team player.
- Ability to sit, stand, twist, turn, lift and perform all duties as required of the job.
- Available for the mandatory overtime.
Salary/Pay Range: $15.00-$32.50
