Field Service Representative - Industrial Water Treatment

Role:
Field Service Representative (FSR) in the Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. You will provide on-site technical service as the primary liaison between Veolia and industrial customers, performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

• Technical Service and Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations.
• Water Testing and Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing (pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc.) and enter data into Veolia's trending platform (Insight).
• Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant, providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams.
• System Optimization and Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve issues via remote support and on-site interventions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, manage inventory, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within the assigned territory and coordinate with sales teams for optimal service delivery.

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in instrumentation and electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.
• A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify).

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Safety-minded with the ability to work in various industrial environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform precision work.
• Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs as needed (frequency varies by worksite).

Compensation:
The salary range is a market-based guide and depends on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Typical range: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour, with offers determined accordingly.
