Master’s-level students in the following areas:
- Social Work
- Substance Use/Mental Health Counseling
- Human Development Counseling
Internships are available at our Heritage offices located in Decatur, Illinois, serving the Central Illinois region.
What You’ll GainAs an intern, you will have the opportunity toapply and expand your clinical skills, including:
- Screening and Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Treatment Planning
- Individual and Group Counseling
- Case Management
- Work underexperienced licensed clinicians who are committed to your professional development.
- Gain exposure to evidence-based practices and integrated care models.
- Participate inteam meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Highly motivated, organized, and adaptable to meet client needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or human services-related field required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
