A School Bus Driver is responsible for transporting students safely and on time from their pickup point to school and back. This includes performing pre‑trip inspections, ensuring child safety, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Conduct child checks after each route
• Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
• Maintain a clean, fueled, and well‑maintained vehicle
• Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
• Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
