Overview
CDL A Drivers & Recent Get Home Weekends on No Touch Freight (Full Time).
Types of Jobs: Dedicated Account. Regional account is looking for Class A CDL Drivers who are experienced and those that are just graduating truck driving school. This account is home weekends for your 34 hour reset with weekly pay of $1,100–$1,700 depending on experience and performance. All freight is no touch.
- Operate no touch freight with a mix of drop and hook and live unloads.
- Drive routes west to Kansas, south to Georgia, east to Pennsylvania, and north to Minnesota; stay within regional limits.
- Maintain safe driving practices to meet DOT requirements and company standards.
- Pay ranges from $0.56 to $0.65 per mile (CPM) based on experience, with up to $0.08 CPM per month in safety and productivity bonuses.
- Average weekly pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,700. Trainees are paid $800 to $900 per week during training, which lasts about 5–6 weeks; starting mileage rate is $0.56 CPM.
- Trains allow a rider (12+ years) and a pet (40 lbs or less) from day one for experienced drivers; riders and pets after training for trainees.
- Full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and other coverage, provided after 30 days.
- Orientation is 2 days; travel, meals, and an additional $300 orientation payment after completion.
- Fleet commonly consists of Freightliner Cascadia trucks 2 years old or newer.
- Residence within 300 miles of Gary; routes may include Kansas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.
- Valid Class A License.
- Terminations:
Cannot have been terminated from a Class A CDL driving job in the last 12 months and not more than once in the last 5 years. - Driving Record:
No more than one on-road at-fault accident or DOT recordable accident in the last two years; no major DOT recordable accidents in the last five years (rear-end accidents must be one year or older). - No more than two moving violations in the last two years; no serious moving violations in the last year (examples: 15+, reckless driving, seatbelt, hands-free device, leaving the scene).
Note:
30+ points is disqualifying for 3 years.
