Warehouse Specialist II

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is in North Chicago, IL 60064
. Details for the position are as follows:

• $22 - $24/hour (based on previous experience)
• Monday - Friday, 1st Shift 7AM - 3:30PM (OT Available and Required)

The Warehouse Specialist II supports the Distribution Center by receiving, storing, and shipping client products used in marketing and distribution activities. This role involves handling materials that may include hazardous materials, high-value items, and temperature-sensitive products while maintaining strict adherence to GDP, GMP, and EHS requirements.

• Operate material handling equipment (including forklifts) to unload, move, and properly store raw materials or API within warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders, including high-value products.
• Perform SAP transactions using computers or handheld devices to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
• Maintain precise documentation, labeling, and cross-checking of materials.
• Follow Business Operating Procedures (BOPs) and SOPs written in English.
• Maintain up-to-date training records and comply with GDP/GMP expectations.
• Receive daily work assignments from group leaders or supervisors.
• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, including reading and following product warning labels.

• Experience working in GMP, GDP, or regulated warehouse environments.
• Physically active role requiring material handling and equipment operation
