Warehouse Attendant-Austin Industrial Decatur, IL East

Summary

Will perform receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and delivery of MRO inventory parts. Use Maximo system to receive inventory, barcode and label parts, stock in appropriate locations, verify purchase order numbers, packing slips, and part descriptions. Process incoming orders, pick inventory based on system, deliver parts to different locations, perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Shift work required.

• Receive incoming inventory into warehouse through Maximo system.
• Barcode and label all parts.
• Stock inventoried items in appropriate locations.
• Verify purchase order numbers, packing slips, and description of parts.
• Process incoming orders, pick items per ordering system.
• Deliver parts to different locations.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory.
• Operate forklift/Grade‑All.
• Maintain production and distribution of product: pull orders, deliver materials, stage finished product for shipping, move and organize inventory, operate machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Safety focused.
• Maximo experience or other CMMS.
• Problem solving ability.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Suite.
• Customer service oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and TWIC card.
• 1‑2 years helper level experience.

• Inside areas: temperatures may reach 100 degrees in spring/summer; up to or below freezing in fall/winter.
• Outside areas: temperatures up to or above 100 degrees and high humidity in spring/summer; freezing or below in fall/winter; exposure to weather conditions.

• Lift and transport materials up to 30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Traverse up to 2 miles during work day.
• Move by stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting; may require prolonged sitting or standing and use of ladders.
