Position Overview

Logistics Planning Analyst – Decatur, IL. Pay: $25/hr. 1st shift (7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.).

Reports To:

Logistics Supervisor (direct);
Site Manager/Director of Operations (indirect).

Overall Purpose

The Logistics Planning Analyst will partner with other departments to ensure efficient logistics services. Responsibilities include executing shipping and receiving, processing goods receipts and issue out, maintaining accurate inventory, managing the on‑site warehouse, and seeking continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Execute daily shipments per company schedule using approved carrier base.
  • Process received goods through receipt, put away, and issue out.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and enforce efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations.
  • Oversee warehouse locations and labeling, ensuring accurate ERP records.
  • Manage and maintain warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies
  • 3+ years relevant experience managing warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, inventory control, documentation, issue out, escalations/resolutions).
  • Technical background with WMS systems experience required.
  • Experience with WITS Warehouse Solutions preferred.
  • Execution in a high‑velocity environment, ability to track multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Super‑user in a common ERP or WMS system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Forklift experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, 5‑Why, Kanban).
Education Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material.
