Meat​/Produce Team Supervisor

Role summary

Meat / Produce associates keep the Fresh area stocked, rotate product, and maintain food safety standards. They move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in order throughout the day. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description.

Walmart’s fresh food and grocery teams help customers find quality products for their families. In our various departments, you will contribute to a positive shopping experience and help ensure product availability and safety.

• Work in deli, bakery, produce, or dry grocery to assist customers and maintain high service standards.
• Help keep shelves clean, organized, and properly stocked; verify product dates and rotate stock as needed.

Responsibilities across fresh food and grocery areas include detailed cleaning, temperature control checks, date verification, and disposal of lesser quality items. If you have a passion or experience with fresh food or grocery, this is the job for you.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for
• Ensure high quality products are available across produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
