Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the assembly and fabrication of metal structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:
Welder/Fabricator

Location: Decorah, IA

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday

What's the Job?

• Assemble, fabricate, and repair metal structures and components using welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and build packets to plan layouts
• Operate welding equipment and set up machines based on project requirements
• Prepare metal surfaces using grinders, cutters, and other tools
• Assist with inventory management and log project time in the company system

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in MIG welding processes
• Fabrication and welding experience in aluminum or steel
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of welding experience
• Ability to work with heavy materials and in demanding conditions
