A well-established and growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production scheduling and planning efforts across a complex manufacturing operation. This individual will play a critical role in balancing customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and material availability while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Procurement.

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the master production schedule to support customer demand and business objectives.
- Balance production capacity, labor availability, inventory levels, and material constraints.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure production schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as priorities change.
- Lead production planning meetings and communicate schedule changes across departments.
- Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and capacity to improve scheduling accuracy.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and long-range capacity planning initiatives.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage production schedules, inventory, and work orders.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory turns, and on-time delivery performance.
- Develop reporting and KPIs to monitor scheduling effectiveness and operational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing planning experience.
- Experience developing and managing master production schedules within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory management, forecasting, and production control.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- APICS CPIM certification is strongly preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence multiple departments.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with manufacturing data.
