Bag Operator – 2nd Shift

Location:

Decorah, IA. Shift

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 3:00PM‑11:00PM.

Pay: $19.58/hr + $2.25 shift premium + Sign‑on Bonus.

• Have thorough knowledge of all bagging equipment.
• Basic personal computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of bag styles, customer‑driven specifications, print and service orders, parts identification, manufacturing and shipping systems, material handling equipment.
• Create bag labels that meet customer requirements.
• Prioritize activities to maximize efficiency.
• Recognize acceptable quality level of product, unsafe conditions, or maintenance problems and report them to supervisor.
• Communicate and cooperate with co‑workers; assist co‑workers as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures, keep machines and work area neat.
• Make minor repairs, assist maintenance with major repairs, complete paperwork timely, set up and run machines to full capability, assist in other areas, maintain customer requirement data on labels and bags, perform duties requested by supervisor; be available for overtime.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Human relations skills.
• Self‑motivated.
• Knowledge of IATF
  16949 and ISO
  14001 requirements.
• Basic knowledge of personal computer operation (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of fasteners (preferred).
