Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a well-established Real Estate developer in the greater Boston area, is seeking an Accounting Manager. This company offers an employee-centric culture and a tight-knit Accounting team. The position is open due to an internal promotion. The Accounting Manager will gain exposure to all aspects of real estate accounting and work directly with the controller and CFO.

• Oversee some Accounting Staff
• Maintain accuracy of property rent rolls, financial statements/reports, budgets, and cash projections
• Oversee bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and budgeting
• Assist with HR duties
• Ad hoc accounting and financial projects

• BS/BA with 5-10 years of related experience
• Confident preparing and presenting financials
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows software programs
• Yardi experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and excellent communication skills
• Experience with Real Estate clients

• Commercial real estate accounting
• Construction accounting
• Residential real estate accounting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
