Junior Tax Analyst Intern or Co-op

Great introduction to public accounting: the experience is a real plus for any resume.

• Assist in all aspects in the preparation of individual and corporate income tax returns.
• Analyze clients' financial transactions to determine accuracy and identify tax related issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements including audits, compilations and reviews utilizing state of the art write up/trial balance software.
• Assist in all other daily operations of a busy accounting office (i.e. collating/organizing of the completed tax packages for the clients, scanning documentation into the electronic file cabinet).
• Also, there will be some administrative tasks (i.e. answering the phones, assisting clients in troubleshooting our client portal, and providing logistic/software-related information to our clients that will help promote the ease of workflow).

• Candidates are required to have proper authorization documents to work in the US and be available full time for the Tax Season (January – April 15th).
• All work is to be performed on networked PCs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Experience with Ultra tax, CCH Prosystem Fx engagement software a plus.
• Strong client communication skills a plus.
