Nobles seeks a part-time (two sections) history teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department whose members are passionate about teaching history, working collaboratively, and developing positive student‑teacher relationships. Candidates who are interested in contributing to school life in a non‑academic area (e.g., athletics, community service, admission, or performing arts) are encouraged to apply.
Teach two sections of history (US and world history)
Attend department and course team meetings
Commit to ongoing growth in classroom practice and curricular development
Supervise one study hall per 7‑day cycle

Requirements QualificationsA bachelor’s degree is required
A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred
Experience teaching history in a rigorous academic environment, preferably at the high school level
A demonstrated interest in working with young people
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Nobles seeks multifaceted educators who will contribute significantly to the life of the school in at least one non‑academic area (e.g., athletics, community service, admission, or performing arts) beyond the classroom teaching responsibilities of this position.
