Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Assistant Teacher - Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Classrooms

The Learning Experience - Dedham is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps create a safe, engaging learning environment while supporting daily classroom routines alongside Lead Teachers.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in a collaborative early childhood education setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with daily classroom routines and learning activities

* Support developmentally appropriate experiences for children across age groups

* Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

* Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers

* Prepare classroom materials and support classroom activities

* Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation

* Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members

* Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

* High school diploma required

* Prior childcare experience preferred

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children

* Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
