Assistant Teacher (Early Childhood Education)

Location:

The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Pay: $20 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Dedham is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps create a safe, engaging learning environment while supporting daily classroom routines alongside Lead Teachers.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in a collaborative early childhood education setting.

• Assist with daily classroom routines and learning activities
• Support developmentally appropriate experiences for children across age groups
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
• Prepare classroom materials and support classroom activities
• Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
• Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and safety requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
• Must meet Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
