Teaching Position At The Goddard School

The Goddard School in Dedham is currently hiring loving, nurturing teachers for our school. We have children ages 6 weeks old through 6 years old. We are looking for teachers who enjoy being around children and encourage children to learn and grow. Our teachers are committed to our children and work as a team to provide the best possible care for our families.

· Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
· Create and implement fun and engaging plans with the guidance of the Program Coordinator
· Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance Establish an effective classroom, responsive to each child's needs
· Adhere to all EEC regulations and Goddard School policies and procedures

· The ability to understand and support the education program using a "learning through play" philosophy
· The ability to interact closely with children at their level
· The ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times
· The ability to change children's diapers and/or assist in toileting (where necessary)
· EEC Certification preferred (or we will help you get it)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team and take directions
· Ability to multi-task
· Candidate must be flexible and able to respond to change as needed
· Candidate must be passionate about working with children and bringing a positive attitude each and every day! Compensation: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
