History Teacher, Upper School

Nobles seeks a full-time, experienced history teacher to begin at the end of August, 2026. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic department whose members are passionate about teaching history, working collaboratively, and developing positive student-teacher relationships.

Teach four sections of history (world history I and world history II)

Attend faculty, department, and course team meetings

Commit to ongoing growth in classroom practice and curricular development

Contribute to school life in at least one non-academic area (e.g., athletics, community service, admission, or performing arts during two of three seasons)

Attend all-school morning assemblies

Supervise one study hall per 7-day cycle

Complete two chaperone duties per year

Participate in one to two admission events per year

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

A bachelor’s degree is required

A minimum of three years of teaching experience is preferred

Experience teaching history in a rigorous academic environment, preferably at the high school level

A demonstrated interest in working with young people

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
