The Inpatient Therapist provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Director. This is a Per Diem position for coverage as needed. Pay: $32.20-$52.00/hour depending on education and experience LI-ONSITE Total Rewards::

Responsibilities Include::
Provide clinical social work and case management consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for assigned cases Manage cases on both the inpatient eating disorder unit and inpatient psychiatric unit. Conduct individual, group and family therapy. Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources. Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and profession manner.
Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum. Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.
Qualifications::
Education:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting
Licensure/Certification : LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, LMFT, preferred or license-eligible CPR certification, required Knowledge:
Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships, age specific growth and development, behavior management and crisis management
Required competencies:
Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast paced mental health environment Ability to work in a highly collaborate, team environment Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
