Caregiver Position

Dedham MA Area Caregiver At a Glance
- Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9am-4:15pm, Sat 9am-4pm
- Pay: $18 to $25 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and exercise
  • Prepare healthy meals and manage medication schedules
  • Perform light housekeeping and home organization
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
  • Monitor and report changes in client health or well-being
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of care provided
  • Adhere to safety protocols and client-specific care plans

Earn $18–$25/hour with time-and-a-half on holidays

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; college students in health sciences welcome
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (must be current)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client homes
  • Background check and drug screening required
  • Compassionate, dependable, and emotionally mature demeanor
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • No long-term commitment—flexible hours, no minimum hours required
