Hebrew Senior Life seeks a compassionate Part-Time Night Shift PCA to support older adults in a senior care setting. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures; monitoring and reporting changes in residents' conditions; and helping maintain a safe, calm night environment. You'll collaborate with nurses and an interdisciplinary care team, ensuring dignity, respect, and inclusion in every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting for senior residents on the night shift
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention using safe techniques
  • Monitor residents' comfort and safety, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Support nighttime routines, including preparing residents for sleep and responding to calls
  • Document care provided and observations accurately in clinical or electronic records
  • Follow infection control, safety, and privacy protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to carry out care plans
  • Offer compassionate, respectful communication that supports dignity and inclusion
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and calm environment during night hours
  • Participate in ongoing training and development related to aging and elder care
