The American Red Cross is seeking a Volunteer Services Senior Specialist to support our Massachusetts Region. Location is Dedham, MA.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):The Volunteer Services Senior Specialist supports volunteer recruitment and engagement activities within the region:
- Develop and implement broad-based recruitment strategies to attract and identify Red Cross volunteers to effectively support Regional goals and mission critical activities.
- Support the implementation and execution of programs, projects and initiatives to increase and strengthen the engagement of volunteers.
- Perform screenings, referrals, and placement of prospective volunteers to effectively support Regional goals and mission critical activities.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):Produce status reports as directed.
Scope:
Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying subject matter knowledge; knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in particular area. Works independently; may instruct or coach other professionals.

Bachelor's degree required.
