Cloud Ops Engineer | Fin Tech | Dedham (Hybrid)
As a Cloud Ops Engineer, you will take ownership of production environments and ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of a cloud-based SaaS platform. You work closely with engineering and customer-facing teams to support deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain seamless operations across the software delivery lifecycle. This role involves hands-on technical work and high-level problem-solving in fast-moving, distributed systems.
Location:
Hybrid in Dedham (3 days/week)
Compensation: $110k-$160k (Flex) + Benefits
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot customer issues, identify root causes, and manage escalations.
- Deploy updates, apply hotfixes, and monitor production systems.
- Resolve complex technical problems beyond Tier 1 support.
- Prioritize and triage bugs with developers.
- Support customer integrations and third-party tools.
- Monitor infrastructure performance to maintain reliability.
- Automate workflows within CI/CD pipelines.
- 4+ years with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure in production.
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Familiarity with systems like Kafka, Spark, or Redis.
- Experience with CI tools and Git.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., CDK, Cloud Formation, Bicep).
