Traditions of Dedham - Dedham, MA 02026. Position Type:
Per Diem. Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly. Wage band: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on years of experience.
- Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co‑workers and the surrounding community.
- As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.
- Operate a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle and ensure it is always ready for transport, including safety checks, first aid supplies and updated resident emergency information sheets.
- Assist the residents with entering and leaving the vehicle, and with baggage as needed.
- Enforce safety rules when traveling.
- Secure all necessary paperwork for appointments and deliver paperwork to appropriate persons.
- Transport residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.
- Service the vehicle with fuel, oil, necessary fluids and maintain it in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Attend required in‑services and orientation.
- Respond to residents’ requests and other duties as requested.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing and implementation of all residence activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Focused and dedicated to provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of servicing an automobile.
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
- Frequent lifting, bending and stretching required.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and completely.
Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three years of driving experience is required.
Certificates/Licenses: A valid driver's license in the community's state is required. No more than two moving violations in a three‑year period on the driving record as determined by your facility's insurance broker.
Physical Demands:
- Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifteen (25) lbs. and carry objects.
- Must be able to push and pull carts, and continuously walk, sit and stand.
- Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.
- Must use good body mechanics.
- Must be able to type and use a computer.
