As a Sr. Manager of Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing a centralized AP team and the full AP lifecycle including, invoice intake and processing, approval workflows, vendor payments (check, ACH, wire), vendor master data and management. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in shared services and ideally the automotive industry, but not required.

• 1. Oversee the entire P2P process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
• 2. Manage AP lifecycle, providing strategic direction and leadership.
• 3. Work closely with the shared services team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• 4. Collaborate with other departments in implementing financial transformation initiatives.
• 5. Utilize systems such as Tekion and Reynolds & Reynolds to manage financial operations.
• 6. Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the accounts payable process.
• 7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• 8. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounts payable team.

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within accounts payable or finance operations
• 2. 3+ years of experience leading centralized AP teams.
• 3. Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes and controls in a high-volume setting
• 4. A track record of leading successful financial transformation initiatives like pay to procure (P2P)
• 5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• 6. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
