Boston Food Pantry Manager
Location:
1033 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston.
Position type:
Full‑time, hourly, Tuesday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Preferred experience working in a food pantry and with volunteers.
Essential Functions- Education:
Bachelor's degree required. - Experience:
Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; develop project plans & budgets; create presentations and training modules; intermediate proficiency with MS Office; ability to work on a team; maintain confidentiality and work with integrity and ethics. - Travel:
Occasional travel required; must have a current, valid driver's license with a good driving record and be willing to drive a 20‑foot box truck.
Salary range (Massachusetts): $24.75 – $26.00 per hour.
Physical RequirementsThe role requires regular sitting, use of hands, and talking or hearing. Frequently reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Must lift or move up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally. Work environment may have moderate noise; may require working in a small space and sitting at a computer for extended periods.
