Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clients in our specialized eating disorder treatment programs. In this role, you’ll provide direct nursing care, monitor vitals and medications, and support therapeutic interventions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. You’ll foster a safe, recovery-focused environment rooted in empathy, integrity, and evidence-based practices, while benefiting from ongoing professional development and meaningful, client-centered work.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care including assessments, vitals monitoring, and basic nursing interventions.
- Administer and document medications per provider orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor clients’ physical and emotional status and promptly report changes to the RN or provider.
- Support meal and snack times, observing clients for safety and adherence to treatment plans.
- Assist with implementation of individualized treatment and safety plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the medical record.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate client progress.
- Educate clients and families on medical aspects of eating disorders and recovery.
- Support crisis prevention and de-escalation following established protocols.
- Uphold infection control, confidentiality, and regulatory standards at all times.
- Vital signs assessment.
- Medication administration and reconciliation.
- Clinical documentation (EHR proficiency).
- Basic wound care and first aid.
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation.
- Psychiatric/behavioral health nursing skills.
- Infection control and safety protocols.
- Nutritional/meal monitoring in eating disorder care.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Patient and family education.
- Active LPN license in a practicing state.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- IV therapy certification (preferred).
- Psychiatric or behavioral health experience (preferred).
- Crisis de-escalation training (preferred).
