Role:
Hospice Registered Nurse providing compassionate end-of-life care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop individualized care plans
- Manage pain and symptoms
- Coordinate with physicians and staff
- Document care accurately
- Supervise hospice aides
- Educate patients and families on physical and emotional support
- Participate in team meetings
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage to ensure continuous patient support
- Licensed RN in Massachusetts with a BSN preferred
- At least one year of RN experience
- Prior acute care or hospice experience is highly valued
- Must have reliable transportation
- Demonstrate strong assessment skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ongoing professional development and adherence to policies are essential
