Are you a mission-driven veterinarian ready to join a growing team that works to expand access to community-based care? The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England's leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a veterinarian to be a part of our expanding community veterinary programs.

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled clinician who wants to work in the community to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine through ARL's existing and upcoming mobile and stationary clinics.

We are looking for a practicing veterinarian who delivers high-quality medical and surgical care to owned pets. You'll play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence through ARL's high-impact programs that meet the needs of the communities we serve.

Weekly travel to ARL's off-site Community Medicine programs, located in Boston and across the South Shore, is required.

What you'll do:

  • Work in the community through mobile and stationary clinics
  • Provide hands-on care to animals and families who might otherwise go without
  • Be a part of growing programs that expand access to veterinary care
  • Develop your clinical skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment

The impact:

This role is central to ARL's mission to keep pets and people together by delivering compassionate, accessible veterinary care.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $120,500 to $130,500 annually;
  • A regular schedule of four eight-hour workdays per week (32 hours weekly);
  • Eligibility for the Non-Profit Student Loan Forgiveness Program;
  • Paid time off, including holidays, vacation, sick, and personal days;
  • Eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance;
  • Retirement Plan with employer matching program;
  • Generous pet care reimbursement and discount programs;
  • Reimbursement for licensing fees, a subscription to VIN, and Continuing Education opportunities.
