Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds. Assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre‑packed deli, rotisserie chicken, and full‑service deli. Supports meat selection and prepares special cuts for members, maintaining sanitation and safety standards throughout the meat department.

• Engage with members, make recommendations and answer questions about meat, poultry, seafood, and prepared foods.
• Prepare special cuts ordered by members and ensure cuts meet company standards.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label products to company packaging standards.
• Maintain product displays, including inventory management and product rotation.
• Ensure proper disposal of damaged or expired items in accordance with guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and storage areas, including coolers and freezers.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery to ensure quality.
• Perform and support club policies and procedures, and assist in other departments as needed.

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat‑cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic and/or hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Work on hard surfaces, involving bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds (and occasionally more with assistance). Frequent exposure to temperature extremes, noise, cleaning agents, and a cooler environment.

Pay range: $19.75 – $24.75 per hour. Additional benefits as described.
