About the Role

As a Sales Associate on the Carter’s team, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families, greeting customers, offering product guidance, and supporting both in‑store and online shopping experiences.

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues, multitasking in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point‑of‑sale/register transactions accurately.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed to keep store displays fresh.
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.

• Positive and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical ability to lift 40pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods and climb ladders.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
