The Part Time Sales Lead at LOFT in Dedham, MA is an on-site role responsible for driving an engaging and customer-focused store experience. Day-to-day, this role supports sales floor leadership, provides personalized styling and product recommendations, and ensures visual standards and merchandise presentations reflect brand guidelines. The Sales Lead assists with opening and closing procedures, processes transactions, manages fitting room flow, and helps maintain inventory organization and replenishment.

This role also supports the development of store associates through coaching on customer service, product knowledge, and selling behaviors, while modeling LOFT’s values and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. The position is part time, with flexible hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• Strong customer service and retail sales skills, including active listening, relationship building, and a focus on delivering an inviting in-store experience.
• Experience leading or supporting teams on the sales floor, with skills in coaching, delegation, and modeling effective selling behaviors.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with customers and colleagues.
• Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks such as merchandising, fitting room support, and transaction processing.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic technology used in retail environments, and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
• Interest in fashion and styling, with the ability to translate product knowledge into confident, personalized recommendations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
