Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Dedham, MA
.
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
- Perform maintenance and repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Engage in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
- Maintain own tools.
- Completes complex internal engine repairs.
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted.
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components.
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred).
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
- Locally valid driving permit (Preferred).
- Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
Drug Testing & SafetyThis position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This role will be subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.
Job DetailsMin Salary: $39.73 per hour. Max Salary: $40.92 per hour. Relocation Package:
