Embedded Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)
Location:
Dedham, MA | Compensation: $78.29/ Hr.

What You'll Do:- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for mission‑critical cybersecurity devices
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions
- Translate system requirements into software design, code, and test plans
- Debug, test, and enhance software across the full development lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization of long‑lifecycle products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related STEM field
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience OR 3+ years with a Master’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in object‑oriented programming using C++, Java, or similar
- 5+ years of experience working with embedded systems (Linux, Android, or similar environments)
- Secret Clearance
Qualifications:
- Experience with real‑time, multi‑threaded embedded systems
- Familiarity with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) or Android system applications
- Knowledge of model‑based development tools (e.g., Rhapsody), UML, or device drivers
- Exposure to ARM virtualization, hypervisors, or modern build systems (Ninja/SOONG)
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and work independently with minimal guidance
