Test Engineer; cleared Security Clearance

Position: Test Engineer (cleared) with Security Clearance
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems is actively seeking a Test Engineer for our Secure Network and Voice Product Development Team.

This position is critical for advancing our automated testing capabilities, requiring collaboration within an agile team to convert operational concepts into practical designs and implementations. The role entails transforming existing design and new specifications into design, coding, and conducting testing and debugging. What you'll experience:
* Work on an agile team to design and implement automated testing solutions.
* Develop automation within a test framework.
* Building test automation into a CI/CD process (Jenkins, Git Lab)
* Collaborate with developers to capture new and modified code.
* Solve complex problems and implement efficient solutions.

* Create test procedures from requirements What you bring to the table:
* Strong knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python.
* Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting
* Ability to turn concepts, specifications, or requirements into design and code.
* Experience with testing and debugging.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
