Warehouse & Driver Technician, Non-CDL - Dedham, MA

Position Overview

Warehouse and Driver Technician (Class C Non-CDL) supports warehouse operations and projects. Primary duties include shipping/receiving orders, quality control, inventory control, and logistics. Requires operating company vehicles with a CDL Class C license for transportation and delivery tasks. Reports to Supervisor, Warehouse Operations or Manager, Warehouse Operations.

• Inbound/Outbound Order Processing:
  Accurately receive, ship and label product, pick-up product from inventory locations and pack orders efficiently for delivery to venues or other warehouses.
• Perform basic quality control (QC) procedures and maintain inventory control.
• Logistics and Transportation:
  Prepare and process shipments for small parcel, LTL and internal fleet;
  Operate industrial powered forklifts;
  Operate company vehicles with a CDL Class C license;
  Ensure timely safe delivery;
  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safety:
  Perform daily equipment checklists;
  Participate in safety team initiatives;
  Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation regulations.
• Warehouse Housekeeping:
  Clean and maintain a safe work area;
  Maintain equipment as necessary.
• Customer Service:
  Maintain high service standards and efficient operation;
  Maintain working knowledge of equipment.

• High School diploma/GED.
• 1 to 3 years experience in a warehouse environment.
• Valid CDL Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills with team members, leadership, customers.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office.
• Experience using an RF based WMS system (preferred).
• Experience operating industrial forklift equipment.
• Experience with DOT regulations and telematics electronic ELD logs (preferred).

Warehouse and Driver Environment:
Work performed at event venues and in a warehouse environment. Exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, dust. Working times may include irregular hours, on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays. Drivers may encounter various weather conditions and road environments. Safety is paramount. $18.77 - $24.40 per hour.
